posts a link to the article Float
by ridiculous_fish which explains floating point numbers which are
used a lot in Apple and Cocoa applications. In the back room, NeCuDeCo presents his
blog The New Cult of Dead Cow
and a short bio: Hi everyone, I use the nickname NeCuDeCo,
although people who know me well call me Renato. I'm a student
of System Engineering in the National University of Trujillo where I
am also the president of the community of open source software. I've been in the programming world
since I was 11 and have used various programming languages: pascal,
basic, C, C++, PowerBuilder, Mono, PHP etc. (Almost all languages
except those of logic programming). I was a Star Microsoft developer
(we all have a dark secret) until about a year ago when I migrated to
Linux. I have worked in a variety of companies in development
positions and in the migration towards Open Source software. I am the
creator of a Linux distribution (still only of local significance)
called RagnarokLinux. I collaborate with the Mono team on a
variety of projects and also with the PHP community giving occasional
talks. As an instigator of Open Source I take part in conferences and
discussions at different colleges in my area, promoting the
philosophy and technology of Open Source. Patxi Echarte in EsLoMas.com
demonstrates with source code in C# how to enter information into an
Excel spreadsheet, and posts links to useful Microsoft articles on
the subject. diego sevilla in diego
sevilla posts a link to the article, More
on Scheme by Don Box, which is a good introduction on how to
start learning about Scheme.
JorgeBec in Ingenieria
de Software posts a link to a Spanish version of the classic
cartoon of software engineering. |
