major Spanish newspaper) with the title, Intelligent
Hunches. The article was publicity for Malcolm
Gladwell, the author of Inteligencia
intuitiva (a translation of Blink
: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, I think). However, José
Luis sees a parallel between the phenomenon described and the way in
which he works as a programmer when he is 'in the groove'. He also
mentions a quote attributed to Bertrand Russell about how the
subconcious mind can be persuaded to deliver solutions to problems
that have defeated the conscious mind.
