que código announces that Juan Palacio has given
permission for his glossary of Software Engineering terms in Spanish
to be made available on the Wiki
of Planeta Código. An article
about this compendium has been published in VERSIÓNCERØ. In the back room, Elias Fernández
presents his web log and a short bio: I am Elias Fernández, 26, from
Granada in Spain and I am a sole trader specializing in IT solutions.
I don't consider myself to be a
entrepreneur, more an independent professional, and I dislike the
hierarchical structure of IT and engineering companies where the
programmer is considered to be a resource and where qualities
like communication, creativity and decision making are ignored. My interest in programming started
relatively recently, at around 21. Since then I have been very keen
to learn, although I am increasingly becoming more critical of what I
see. I am comfortable working in C#,
Actionscript and PHP. My focus is always on being business
orientated and I'm interested in the automation of processes that are
performed time and time again. My wish is to achieve something
genuinely original. Meanwhile, business is good. My blog is very
practical with examples of downloadable code containing re-usable
functions. I am constantly gaining in experience, particularly
reading articles such as those that appear in Planeta Código. |
