provides one possible solution to the problem of centring
an HTML page both horizontally and vertically using CSS and
JavaScript. He has written a function PositionIt that is called by
onload and onresize. The function identifies the area available using
calls to getViewportWidth and getViewportHeight and then sets the
left and top of the page absolutely. See his example,
resize the page and verify that the page remains centered in the
window. The code can be seen using the browser function View Source.
