01-Sep-2005In the backroom,
Juan Percy publisher of Juanpe
Mono Developer, gives a short bio: My name is Juan Percy Rojas Cruz, but
everyone calls me Juanpe. I am 23, and have a Bachelor of Computation
and Computing obtained from the Universidad
Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo de Lambayeque - Peru. I am
currently preparing my thesis to obtain the title of Software
Engineer. I program in C/C++, VB6, JavaScript and Visual Basic script
for ASP and .NET (VB.NET / C#). I am currently investigating and
learning to use the open source development platform for .NET (Mono,
from which comes the title of my blog). I am also beginning to
discover the wonderful world of GNU/Linux. In the programming
category of my blog I mostly write about topics relating to .NET, but
I also develop in PHP and in SHELL, which I learned recently. I am
also the leader of a group that is developing a new project for the
MonoHispano
group; it is a blog client MonoBlog.
I am also one of the leaders of the Community of Linux Users (LUGCIX)
of Chiclayo, the city where I am currently living. Juan Palacio in Navegapolis
posts a link to the site Compareblogs
which provides a comparison of the numbers of subscribers to any two
selected blogs in Bloglines. JavierPerez in JavierPérez
presents the explanation and the source code for a extension to
Firefox that allows you to create a floating panel containing a link
to the RSS feed of the web page you are viewing and add it to your
page in Protopage.
