Several members have been exchanging lists of books about technology and thoughts about these books. Here is a link to the forum thread and also a call for more books that may be of interest to other members.
jbravo in Programando... has just found a book called "Buenas prácticas en J2EE" written by Martin Perez. One of these hints is that one should never depend on an IDE. Of course, an IDE can be useful when writing code, but a lot of the every day tasks of a Java programmer can be performed just as well with ANT and Maven.
