 Jaime Irurzun in  código escrito writes that he is looking for a language with the following characteristics: open source, clear syntax, strict data typing, object orientated, multi platform, with an IDE, suitable for desktop applications. He is looking at  Python but doesn't like the syntax. At college he is going to introductory lectures on Mono,  Gimp, and  LaTeX. He likes two IDEs,  Lazarus (based on FreePascal) and  Dev-C++.
