The similarity metric measures the degree of similarity between two or more web pages in the context of clustering schemes; that is, the organization of information according to its most important attributes. There are three types of similarity metrics: content, links and usage. Juan Palacio in Navegapolis writes that when Telefonica, the telecommunications giant of Spain, appears in blogs, it is normally the butt of criticism. However, yesterday in Zaragoza Telefonica presented a report of a study of the information society in Spain in 2004. This study, as well as those it carried out in South America is of huge value for anyone interested in the Information Technology market.
