The author of Retrato en Sepia speculates on the CNet news article that Apple may end their partnership with IBM and switch to Intel chips. The principle reason for the change may be the delays in the production of the G5 processors. The big question is whether the Mac OS X can run on x86 chips, but Steve Jobs has said that this could be done easily. If the switch happens, we could see Intel processors in equipment like the Mac Mini in 2006 and in the more powerful machines in 2007. clbustos in Php y otras yerbas announces that his Ruby library for reading index information from CDs has now reached version 0.2.0. The principal improvement over the earlier version is compatibility with libcdio version 0.7.3 and improved support for audio.
