WinBinder: desktop applications for Windows with PHP
WinBinder: Aplicaciones de escritorio para Windows con PHP

Javier Perez in  JavierPérez introduces WinBinder, a native Windows binding for PHP, and shows a few examples of its use in the development of PHP applications for the Windows desktop. The alternative is PHP-GTK which is portable between Windows and Linux, but WinBinder has the edge when a pure Windows look and feel is required and is simple to use.

La comunidad: Najaraba.com

José Ramón presents his web log  Najaraba.com and a short bio:

Hi, my name is José Ramón. I got the degree of software engineer from the Universidad del Pais Vasco. When I finished, the most interesting things I learned were in the research group of the faculty (thanks, Oscar). Then I worked for a couple of companies using J2EE. Now I am at the Editorial Aranzadi developing on-line database query software with J2EE.
Last year I got my MBA in the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) which opened my eyes to things outside source code. Because of this, I now write about management of software teams and methodologies in my blog and sometimes write on the IT industry in general.
All this from the little Spectrum 128 that they gave me some Christmases ago...
