clbustos congratulates Juanjo Navarro for having created Planeta Código. One of the most agreeable surprises for him in having access to the posts is reading about the exploits of the mad professor Dispar in trying to take over the world using his skills in Java in Design-nation. In avemundi, José Luis Sánchez says that since the completion and release of Cuaderno de Bitácora (version 6) and el Puchero (version 4) last November, he realized that he made a few important mistakes and wants to share his new knowledge with the community. error #1: Poner un programa a la venta sin tener el fichero de ayuda terminado (putting a program up for sale without having completed the help file). It is very easy to consider that a program has been finished when you have the working program to send out to customers, and to think that something as simple as a help file will only take a month or so to deliver. However, experience has shown that once a program has been released, your time is not freed up; on the contrary you seem to have less. It is now six months since the original release, and the help files have only just been finished. In Bitácora de Guti, Javier Gutiérrez Chamorro (Guti) says that, as a beta tester, he has just received the non disclosure agreement for C++Builder from Borland. If he signs it, he will be prohibited from making any communication about the product. Therefore, this might be his last post on the subject. Dexter is the code name for the next version of Borland Development Studio which through the same IDE may include tools for C++Builder, Delphi and possibly C# and other languages. This is Borland's answer to Visual Studio .NET . Nothing is known about the possible release dates at this time, of course, but the IDE may well be written in C# and include the Delphi 2005 code. An earlier article on this subject can be found in Conclusiones sobre el futuro de C++ Builder . |
